Marisa is in her 7th year of Ballet now. I can't believe it!

She still really loves it. I like watching her. She's such a cutie!

Choir

Marisa joined an after school choir this fall.

They sang at Reams for their Christmas open house and then again at school in early December.

She had a good time with friends and they sounded great.

Cruisin'

Since Shane's parents were in town for the wedding, Shane and I made a plan to go away for a few days.

We picked a cruise, because were fun like that. Actually, while cruises aren't my favorite vacation, they are slowly making it to the top of the list because they are so effortless and really not very expensive. And lets face it, I love food. There is LOTS of food on cruises.

This time we stopped in Catalina, CA and I decided to use my dusty old scuba certification and give it another shot.

It was so fun! Even when my mask kept leaking.

We were under about 50 minutes and went down 60 feet.

I saw lots of kelp, a lobster, many smaller crazy looking fish and a huge fish that was bigger than me.

It took me a couple minutes at first to convince my brain that I was not going to die. Once I was a few feet bellow, I was able to calm down and enjoy it.  It has been a while.... like 17 years.

Since the rest of our cruise was a repeat of last years we didn't get many more pictures but we had a great time.

The weather was fantastic, the water was smooth and we had fun spending some cash in Ensenada, Mexico.

It was hard to come home from these things though. Suddenly no one makes my food, my bed and  I've got a chore list the size of Mount Everest. Ah well, It's worth it. Were so lucky that Shane's parents can watch our kids for us so we can do things like this.

Wedding Bells

Shane's nephew got married on the only day in something like 40 days that it rained.

What's a wedding if there isn't some kind of crisis. It just makes for fun stories. It was cold and wet... the whole day.

Marisa was a cute little flower girl. Here's some pictures from our day.

Of course the boys found anyone with a device and preceded to turn into zombies. I don't blame them, it was a long day.

Cedar City Open House

Our family as well as Shane's parents headed down to Cedar City to go to the open house before the temple was dedicated.

It was great!

My favorite part was the light plaques (not sure what they are really called). They were beautiful.

Halloween 2017

Here are my cute Halloeeners. All store bought this year.

Roman didn't dress up but he took the kids around. Everyone took pity on him and he came home with plenty of loot too.

Here are the kids pumpkins. They are starting to get better at doing these themselves. Maybe next year I can be a neutral third party.... probably not but we're getting there.
