Pumpkin Patch

Marisa, Ezra and I went to the pumpkin patch. I thought for sure we would be in and out in no time.

I was wrong. There was a lot to do and they loved it all.

These two had a great time. I finally just planted myself in the giant pile of corn and did some online shopping.

These two have so much fun together. It makes me happy.

BYU Football

While we are on the topic of football. Roman and I were given tickets to a BYU football game. Now, this is really not the year to get excited about BYU football, but hey.... free entertainment.

It started out promising, but by the second quarter, it was obvious that it was going to be another embarrassing loss. It was still fun. I got my nachos. Roman got his cougar tail, so it was a win for us.

Football

Roman loves football more and more every day. He loves watching it, playing it, pretending to play it on the wii.... sigh.

He played flag football. He had so much more fun this year. Not only was he NOT the youngest little nerd on the team, he grew about 6 inches and was now the tallest. Being tall has so many advantages when it comes to most sports.

He really enjoyed himself. He got many interceptions, many touchdowns and had a great time. He thinks he'll do another year of flag football because he gets so much playing time. If he did tackle it would be a lot of practice and next to no playing time. Keeps this mom happy too.

I Scream, You Scream

Remember this?

And this?

Well, we've done it again. This time Ezra pulled his weight around here, brought his A game and won the ice cream eating contest at Macey's this year.

Roman and Marisa "entered" the contest for the free ice cream.

Ezra was thrilled to have won.

Another year of free ice cream for us. YAY! Maybe next year we'll skip it just to give everyone else a chance.

Soccer

Marisa and Ezra played soccer this fall.

I am not sure what possessed Ezra to play as he just hates it. I know it was all for the treats.

Anyway, Marisa came home from her first practice crying because her coach made them run "so much." She wanted to quit.

Ezra's team had one practice ever which he was totally good with.

Marisa's team practiced several times a week and they worked really hard. I told her to stick with it and she did. She ended up having a really good time. She sort of has a love hate relationship with soccer. She likes some parts and hates others. Her team was so much fun to watch and it was great to see Marisa get better at playing soccer anyway.

Her coach was tough, but so good at coaching.

Ezra will never play again. That was torture for everyone. I'll give him treats just for not playing. HA!
