Monster Concert

Marisa has been in orchestra this year and has really had a good time with it.

Her only complaint was that she had to go to school early in order to participate. She is looking forward to Jr. High where it can be part of her regular school day.

So about half of the elementary schools in the district got together and put on a concert. I was impressed by how well they did considering they are mostly beginners and they had never played all together like this before that night.

She's a cutie. We just bought her a new, bigger violin so hopefully she sticks with it for a while. Orchestra was one of my favorite parts of jr. high and high school. So fun!

Three Year Scholar with Perfect Attendance

Roman was able to get a 4.0 all three years of Jr. High.  What a task!

They hold a special banquet and give them a certificate. He also managed to have perfect attendance. The only kid in his grade to accomplish it.

We're pretty proud of him!

Way to go Roman!

Easter 2019

Easter was nice.

After the normal festivities, I took the kids to the Provo temple to walk around the temple grounds. It was a lovely day.

Turning 12

The long awaited day has arrived and Marisa is now 12!!!!!

She picked raspberry lemonade cupcakes which were delicious.

12 is a birthday party year at our house and she was so excited to take her friends ice skating.

Marisa had a great time! Her friends were done skating before her, but it all worked out OK.

We came home and celebrated some more. She got a bunch of great gifts.
