Tuesdays are not my friend.

I blame Scouts.

One Tuesday this month, after work, scouts, and a quick bite to eat I needed to go up to Orem to pick up some sewing before heading to Payson for Orchestra.

Half way to Orem while on the freeway I heard a sound that I thought was the road then quickly realized... nope, it's my tire.

I pulled over.

It was raining and it was getting dark. BLAST!

I've never changed a tire before. I've always figured I could handle it but the truth is... the jack makes me nervous.

I have AAA and I was so glad to just give them a call and wait.

So this nice man came and rescued me. Lucky me, the spare had air and worked like a charm. I did finally make it to orchestra an hour late.

Life's fun! Tuesday's are not.

WICKED!

The kids and I went to see the Broadway show Wicked up in Salt Lake City. 

Oh it was fun!

We rode the train.

Had a fine dining experience in the mall food court (not pictured because I was too busy stuffing my face)

Then it was off to the theater.

It really is a great show.

I'll probably be shunned for this but I don't love the music of this show. I know, I know! But the story and the cleverness make up for it and more in my mind! We all had a great time and it makes me happy that my kids like this stuff enough to go with me.

Valentines 2019

The Valentines door decorating about sent me over the edge because it was taking longer than I had planned and it wasn't working the way I wanted it to.

After a couple attempts, going to bed and decided I didn't care, getting out of bed an hour later because I did care, and finally getting it right.. it was a hit.

The kids were showered with balloons when they opened their doors and those stupid puff balls will never be purchased again! They took forever to open up! BLAST!
