Girls Camp 2019

This year was Marisa's first year at girls camp!

She was SO excited. I was excited too as I was the camp director again this year.

We decided to go to Yuba Lake which is a favorite of mine.

We started out by doing baptisms at the Payson Temple. Then, after setting up camp, we drove over to Manti for the Manti Pageant. I had never been before and since this was the last year they are having it, we made the effort to go.

Matching girls

We had a great time!

The wind however, had other plans. It ended our beach day early with a dust devil that ruined our lunch, blew away my inner-tube and mangled our canopy. We still managed to have a good time.

Marisa, Paige and I tried paddle boarding again... this time in a less windy spot. We also made rock castles and cooled off in the water.

One morning we started our day by doing yoga near the beach and then a "polar plunge"

The wind continued to get worse and worse on our last full day. It got to the point where you couldn't even talk to the person next to you.... So... we packed up and came home. Before we did, we did some crafts and service projects.

It was nice to be out of the wind and we didn't miss out on much by leaving early.

These girls are so cute.

We had a great camp cook that saved me SO much stress..... It was bliss.

Marisa said she loved it. So that's a win.

Girls camp is the best!
